All Access reports:
"With CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KNRS-A/SALT LAKE CITY having moved to FM, the station's old 570 AM frequency will air a new lineup of Talk programming as FREEDOM 570. KNRS' present lineup will air exclusively at 105.7 FM beginning SEPTEMBER 17th, with the new AM lineup heard not only on 570 AM but on FM over translator K266AE/PROVO and the HD-2 channel of Hot AC KJMY (MY 99.5 FM).
The FREEDOM 570 lineup will include "THE WALL STREET JOURNAL THIS MORNING," PREMIERE's BILL HANDEL and JASON LEWIS, and DIAL GLOBAL's CLARK HOWARD (debuting NOVEMBER 4th, moving from crosstown BONNEVILLE Talk KSL-A-F), NEAL BOORTZ and TODD SCHNITT."
Very gutsy move and smart, especially with the use of the Utah County translator, pumping in more conservative talk *there*. I predict the combo will pull ahead of KSL by the end of the year.
Now, who's taking bets the next to go all talk will be Now 97.9. If they tank in the ratings, I would bet that is their next move, albeit Dan Jessop might bite his nails over it.

Clark Howard actually sounds terrible on KSL. Serious audio quality difference between KSL's other programming and this show. I've always wondered what the deal was with that. And I do hope they bring back the afterparty.
