All Access reports the following:
"The sale of KPCW-A (formerly KCPW-A)/SALT LAKE CITY by COMMUNITY WIRELESS OF PARK CITY to IMMACULATE HEART RADIO's IHR EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING has finally been filed with the FCC, over a year after it was initially announced. The price has fallen in the interim from $1.3 million to $900,000."

I guess that answers my question as to whether the simulcast of KPCW on KCPW-AM meant that the sale was off. Apparently not.  |

They are presently simulcasting the Park City FM on it, and the format up there is crap during hte day, hear typical AC/classic hits on the thing right now. Maybe NPR morning/evening, but that's it. Do they run the classical format and BBC at night still in Park City (surprised KBYU hasn't strung a booster up there yet).

There's too much NPR on local radio waves. KUER, KCPW, KPCW. Why doesn't one them offer classical or something different in programming? Oh yeah and KUSU in Logan.

KBYU should stick a booster in Park City, Heber....a lot of those folks commute to Provo/Orem.

Funny, the last time I checked the log, KUSU plays classical from 11am to 2pm and overnight from 9pm to 4 am. Alternatively, classical offerings format KUSU-HD2 from 4am to 11 am and from 4pm to 9pm.
