Just went through St. George. A lot to talk about here.
KBZB 98.9 Pioche NV is booming in strongly on 98.9, making 98.1 a rimshot, and the translator at 98.3 appears to be gone. It's also the better signal in Cedar City for KREC as well.
Gone also is the 96.7 translator, as KHIJ/Mesquite is able to rimshot the area. They just signed on and are stunting with TV theme songs. However, I still find the 96.7 translator on with them rebroadcasting 92.1 although that is now operating with its booster.
A K-Love translator on 102.3 moved to 91.7, and it looks like KCDC is on the air now, rebroadcasting 107.3 which is a mediocre classic rocker.
KWBR-LP, the LPFM that broadcast BYU Radio, is gone, KOAS 105.7 Dolan Springs/Las Vegas apparently has done some stuff with their transmitter after Riviera Broadcasting signed the stations over to the bank (Goldman Sachs) after going bankrupt, and the smooth jazz station is now coming in clear to the area, with some interference, but that only goes just so far north of town and its gone. KOAS is in a new owner's hands and is now no longer owned by the bank.
KOEZ-LP did go all-Spanish.
KXDS is on 91.3 now and is only broadcasting like 6am-Midnight.
KSGU on their HD signals is identifying as 'KNPR-FM'. HD2 is a rebroadcasting of KCNV Las Vegas, HD3 is Xponential Raido.
KPLD is on 94.1 now, surprising since it is rather close to a full C in Las Vegas, KMXB. And The Planet seems to have all kinds of 'satellites' in the form of their translators. An Edgewater Broadcasting (religious broadcaster) translator in Cedar City on 97.7 appears to be airing them also.
Further north, the mains for KAUU, KUDE and KQMB are not operating. Dead air down by Nephi save for a scratchy signal from the booster for KUDE. Interestingly, I could get KEGH in a near city-grade signal going through Santaquin Pass, and that was on a handheld portable headphone radio.
