Two more of the USU CPs, in Vernal and Moab, take calls.
Vernal: 88.5 takes KUSK. Moab: 88.7 takes KUST
No word on when any of the KUER relay CPs will take their calls.
A note about the KUSK calls, they were the former calls of one of the early parties in the mass rush for permits when low power television was first authorized. So we very nearly had a KUSK relayer in Salt Lake then. The station was on Channel 7 in Prescott Arizona. Why the calls are in Vernal now is because the station eventually abandoned the network idea, and is now known as KAZT which stands for 'AZ TV' and like when the station first proposed a national low power network, is still an independent, and given the demise of KPHO 5 Phoenix as one, they took the ball and ran with it and they are the leading independent there now.
