Here's a story on this from Yahoo's news page. You may have to paste into your browser to see this. us.rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/rss/mail/ts/*http://us.rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/rss/topstories/*http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070412/ap_on_en_mu/imus_protestsNothing new for the CHR/Rhytmic format, they play alot of stuff that is 'that bad', the top 6 songs on Billboard in either the last week or this contain worse things than Don Imus is reported to have said. Lots of other sexual slang that some here have no idea what it means. I do remember the original Blaze had some people there that used the term 'hoe' quite a bit. One DJ referred to some star as a 'total hoe' during an evening drive show. They have really toned that trash talk down since they moved to 94.9, some of what I heard was when they still had jocks on 102.3 (KWKD). The term is considered to be more offensive than to just call a woman a 'hooker' or '****'.

I'm sticking by my prediction. He'll get an offer from one of the sat companies. Whether he takes it is a different matter. If I were him I'd be considering retirement now (he's almost 67 years old), but not under these circumstances. I'd probably sign a contract for a year or until the end of 2008 just to prove that I'm going out on my own terms. I'd also be free to blast CBS and NBC for being spineless gutless wonders.
The next few days should be really interesting.
