Last week Simmons filed an application to lower KAOX 107.3 from a C1 at 100kw to a C2 at 13.5kw. Location and HAAT are the same.
I just had a thought. Could Simmons be making a play to move KRAR (a second adjacent) out to Humpy and make it a rimshot? They'd almost certainly need a change in the COL, but that would be consistant.

Once again, all hail to consulting engineers and corporate law firms. Draw those lines, make it fit, stuff another signal in there. "What hath Millcreek / Marathon / et, all wrought?"

There's already a docket to move 100.7 to Woodruff from Brigham City. That, however, is tied up by a counterproposal to allot 100.5 to Opal, Wyoming.
So it could well be that Simmons is trying to get one last rimshot in via 106.9. I haven't heard of any docket being opened up for 106.9 and even what town they will state to be their COL. Expect quite a huge docket, and nothing for a few years, given the counterproposals that are sure to be put forth.
It is possible, though, as Brigham city would still have the ExBand station, KXOL 1660. Might become one of the few places to only be served by an ExBand station.
