In my opinion pepper jack cheese is the bomb, because it's cheese , but it's y too And yes there are to many rock stations, and eventually one or two of them will go.

Is there even a point to having more than 2 stations who have roughly the same format? With the addition of KJQ, here's how the battle lines should be dran out...
X96 vs. KBear (The Origional Battleof Rock vs. Alternative) KJQ vs. The End (The Past vs. The Past) Arrow vs. Rock 99 (The even further Past vs. the even further Past)
THERE! Screw Mad Dog and Channel. No one likes them anyway. That's why they're so far down the list. Except for Rock 99, but who else is going to compete with Arrow?

The new AM 860! Then you could have a straight Simmons vs. Citadel war! Although, a classic rocker on local AM might be cool. I hear some people still only have AM radios? Oh my.

I still think its only fair to have as many rock stations as we have now I like both Mad Dog and Channel.

Mad Dog is OK but their signal sucks and it hurts my ears to listen to them. Besides, the only time I even tune into Mad Dog is if they're playing a song I don't like on X96, and even then I'll only listen to a song or two. As for Channel they should throw in the towel sooner than later. The only people I have ever met that like the Channel are 12 y/o kids and their younger siblings. Their signal is WAY overcompressed, their music is too bland and boring and I can only hear so many Korn and Disturbed songs over and over again. You'd think ClearChannel would have better business sense.

Number of stations does not decide market size. It is based on population.

You know, if no one else is going to vote or give an opinion on a station as to whether it should saty or go, I'm gonna ask that this topic be locked down.

I'm in Salt Lake mostly, Mad Dog is choppy through out the entire valley, especially on the east side, where in some places it fades almost completely out.

Mad Dog 102.3 is relying on the boosters to cover the Wasatch Front. The power from them is lower.
It's odd that Tom is having such a problem though. The Ogden area booster is right on the northern border of Hill. You know that big tower on the corner of Riverdale Rd and 1900 W in Roy? That's where the boosters for (at least) 102.3 and 107.9 are.
