Internet postings in Idaho say Bonneville may have sold their stations in Idaho and St. George. Heard anything?

I saw that on All Access and Idaho Radio News forum (http://idradnews.conforums.com) but have neither seen nor heard any indications.

The rumor is that they are for sale, no word on a buyer quite yet.

The Bonneville Intermountain Radio Group is advertising for numerous positions at their St. George stations.

I just heard from a source that the rumor IS true. Bonneville/St. George IS for sale. The source could not confirm the SE Idaho cluster status.

Sources from the Idaho cluster say that Bonneville has hired Peter Handy of Star Media Group in Dallas to handle the sale and YES, both Idaho and St. George are for sale and they are willing to split the markets in order to attract a buyer. Rumor has it that Simmons is interested and perhaps Kent Frandsen's Sand Hill/Sun Valley although it would appear that the latter would have to spin off some stations in Idaho if that was the cluster they were interested in.

It is also rumored that the sale has happened, and that the stations are going back to Simmons? I also heard that Richard Mecham (the former head of the Intermountain Radio Group at Bonneville) was trying to work out some downpayment and purchase over time, but lost out when Simmons offered all cash. All of this is totally un-confirmed, and should not be relied on other than to foment rumors and speculation.
