Aside from having an ABC presence in the area, is ABC4 even that important anymore in the valley?
They're only an affiliate, so aside from when Bush is on the air they don't do any real news. Local coverage is a joke, especially when KSL and KUTV will cover a story that they don't even hear about until 6PM. Is there even a need for these guys anymore?
I'm fully aware that someone's going to jump in and argue that variety is needed, but they don't feel like a powerhouse station anymore to me. Is it just me?

Is ABC as a network even necessary anymore? Yes, for all the "Lost," "Alias," and, most importantly "Desperate Housewives" fons!

Only because Ruth Todd and a few other anchors/reporters.
Do you really think the Nielson Ratings are accurate here in Salt Lake? I mean, honestly, I like watching Channel 4 (I don't work for them, but enjoy them) Channel 2 has to have been #1 at least a couple of times. I mean, how long can people watch Bruce Lindsay and Nadine Wimmer when Nourse and Mikita are on vacation? They should put Kim Johnson back on the line-up somewhere.

Who can watch Norris at all? Every tiem I flip by 5, he looks like he's pacing his words and breathing as to prevent a stroke or another heart episode.
