I heard that she was let go from channel 4 for failing to respond to her company cell phone when her boss called her. I also heard that she is currently free-lancing with a station in Vegas, and trying to get a spot on a new KSL mid-morning show.

Lisa's contract was up for a while before she left channel 4 to figure things out, such as what the best choices were for her career and family. I doubt she was fired, especially for not answering her cell phone. Now, whether she is freelancing in Vegas, I do not know. I've checked all the Major-affiliates' websites for a story by her and found nothing. And, because she left KSL, I highly doubt she will return to channel 5, but of course I could be wrong.
