TV Commercials

I like the new Verizon Wireless commercial about the two guys in their offices cubies.

You see one guy, but the guy in the next cubie has his new phone in his hand, and his arm is dangling into the first guy's cubie. The 2nd guy is mocking the 1st guy using his new cell phone. The 2nd guys flip phone is supposed to be talking to the 1st guy.

The phone tells the first guy that the 2nd guy can do all these cool things with his new phone, like...download videos etc and guy #1 says something like "yeah, I get it--Jim is cool"

Then the phone asks the 1st guy where his phone is. The 1st guy says "it's at home" and the phone yells "CAUSE IT'S LAME!!!!!"

One series of tv ads that I hate is the one where the woman is jabbering like crazy about Mesquite and the casino noises going bing, bing, bing and then as she stands in awe at the casino, she says she is speechless.... She is super hyper and it makes me so nervous that I have to change the channel everytime I see a glipse of her. That ad makes me NOT want to go to Mesquite ever!!!

Anyone else have favorite or not-so-favorite commericals?

The Verizon commercial that you speak of ---- doesn't the "cause it's laaaame" voice sound like a voice from that fad internet site with the bad-toothed hampster things singing "we like da moooooooon". I think they were briefly on an airing commercial -- Quizno's maybe?

I like the new Burger King commercials where the dad hamburger is talking to jr hamburger. "I can't believe you're selling yourself for a buck"......., "if you would just get your head out of your buns...."

I don't like the Staples "easy button". OK, there is no stinking easy button -- I don't know why but those made me mad at first. I'd flip the channel when I saw it. Until the one where the man is sitting on the easy button and ink cartridges fall from the ceiling. I laughed at that one, and since have found them somewhat bearable.

Oh ya -- and "because it's shiney". Cingular Wireless. A man gets a phone call and it's someone asking for his friend. Friend takes the call and hands back the phone. Friend explains he uses Man's cell phone because his service stinks. Man asks Friend why he even has a cell phone. Friend replys "because it's shiney". I also like that everyone is earing blue, except for Cingular man, who has on an orange shirt.

I think TBS's "Department of Humor Analysis - Very Funny" commercials are hilarious. They have a person calling in to the Department of Humor Analysis to see if a certain situation they are watching can be considered funny. The "Humor Scientist" on the other line analyzes the situation and tells the person how much to laugh depending on the humor of the situation. They're so funny.

And to top it all off, watch the Department of Humor Analysis video, take the humor survey and play other games at www.tbs.com. I did it all last night and laughed so hard my sides hurt.

Yeah! You crack me up, Yellow ;D That quiznos snaggletooth thing was weird, don't you think? It reminded me of some kind of health dept issue.

I wonder who does the voice for the Quiznos baby...that person sounds familiar...

Have you seen "Big Buckin' Chicken"? That has got to be one of the weirdest things I've seen in a while.
At first, I thought it must be an ad for KFC, but I think it's an ad for Burger King?
