No, Geraldo sat with him in the studio, grilled him for the first like 8 minutes, he even had that condescending tone to his voice when he was laying out the segment at the beginning, the geraldo interview will probably still re-run at 4am or 430am, tomorrow morning, right after cops, I dint know since I now work days, but Phoenix police are trying to find the file and match it, I downloaded the whole thing, it's creepy, this chick isn't talking like she's making crap up or pranking the show, she talks about it like she's giving directions, or telling tom about a her power going out at home, if you listen you'll be able to tell, way to much detail to be fabricated, and you know tom, he kept her on and asked her the same questions but in 100 different ways, and she never missed a beat, or got cross bunged, or anything, just really creepy, I'm sure as soon as phoenix police make a positive match from the story to the right case file, it will explode onto all the network news and radio news shows, but they said it could take up to 6 months to pull every suicide case since 1997 and correctly match it with the story she told, but tom offered $5000 of his own money if anybody hears her voice that knows her, and turns her in.

This is the first I'm hearing of it, but did Leykis mention anything about trying to trace the call?

Man! That's just nutty! I really hope it's not true for the guy's sake. Even if it is a well orchestrated prank, if the real police are involved, someone could be charged with filing a false police report and other charges for the time the cops took in investigating the case.
If it is true, I hope the crazy chick is found!
They could easily trace the call, even if it was made from a cell phone. To get cell records all a phone company needs is a supina from a judge. If the call was made from an unknown or private number, they could still get that number fairly easily. If the call was made from someone else's phone or an office phone etc, those people become part of that investigation and may become accessories to a crime, depending on the circumstances of the situation.

I'm not going to go into it here, but yes it's possible to make completely anonymous phone calls, cell and otherwise.
That being said, since this alleged murderer didn't disguise her voice (as it appears), I doubt she's smart enough to have done that.

Good thing you didn't mention caller id spoofing.

Good thing you didn't mention caller id spoofing. Caller-ID spoofing is certainly possible (and not that hard), but not relevant here. Toll-free numbers use ANI which is a completely separate system. What I'm talking about is where the telephone companies themselves don't even know who you are. You can spoof Caller-ID all day long from your house phone, but I can guarantee that the telco that you pay your bill to each month knows who and where you are.

Did the woman REALLY confess to murder or did she say, "IF I killed my husband, here's how I did it." Works for OJ.
