I bet ABC sponsored the contest.
Seriously though, I used to like Sean. He was the humbler little guy in national talk. Then he got an audience...... ..... and started hanging out with Anne Coulter. Now he's a real arrogant jerk. I have to flip to Limbaugh to get a break. (j/k)

Radio truly is in trouble if the likes of Hannity constitute "personality" of the year. I heard one of KSLs promos for Hannity on FM and I really thought I was listening to the lucky charms cereal leprechaun.
Pretty sad state of radio to have Hannity be the poster boy. Talk about one trick pony.

What exactly about him don't you like? OK, I'll bite. What I hate about Hannity... let me count the ways.... Actually, I don't hate him just the vitriol black and white thinking he and others like him endorse. I don't like his insistence that anyone that does not fully get into lock step with the neo-con agenda of "exportin' democracy" is a traitor. Or everyone that expresses a desire to end the occupation of Iraq is a traitor and an enemy of America. I grow tired of his insistence that there is something superior about so called "American Values" and how America is the "greatest country in the history of the world. Yes, I think we have pretty good here but hardly the utopia he claims it is. Isn't part of greatness called humility? To be sure I think far less of our country now than I did prior to the last miserable 7 years. To think the general public (democrats included) have aloowed this to happen makes me sad beyond belief. I can't stand his continual war drum thumping of "we must win in Iraq" and his recent discourses on why Iran must be next. Perhaps when someone can describe what "winning" means or when we'll know we're done or when "mission accomplished" will actually mean troops will be coming home. Never mind that won't happen. As it stands now winning has no definition and really is just pumping billions of dollars into the military machine with very little going to the actual military and those on the front lines. Basically I see Hannity as the antithesis of healthy political dialog in this country. Not because I do not agree with his positions but because of how he presents them. I also judge Hannity by the company he keeps the Ilk of Coulter and Fox News, Dick Cheney .et al. Of course here in Utah those people are revered. Finally (only because I have to stop some time there is much more) Hannity (and others like him) epitomizes black white, "for us or agi'n' us" mentality. It might be popular on the radio but rings very hollow when there is real work to be done. While I lean left of center I still recognize the best ideas and government come from a mixture of ideas. And a Hannity Neo-Con so called majority "utopia" is not what our country needs. The GOP had control of the house senate and executive for 6 years and look where it got us. Yet Hannity claims to want more of the same? When you're on the side of a man with an approval rating in the low 20 percents... I give him one thing at least he's loyal. Not smart but loyal. Look at the current state of our nation after the leash holders for Hannitys and Limbaughs have been in charge. To have Hannity with a straight face say we need more of the same is laughable. He peddles hate and hyperbole and does NOTHING of any real value to push our country in a more positive direction. His entire shtick is to berate those that are different and to push the GOP neo-con agenda. Nothing more. Where are the ideas? It's dumbed down good guy bad guy, WWE politics for the NASCAR crowd. There should be more substance. When Hannity starts giving something more than "democrats hate America and embolden our enemies" ad nauseum for 3 hours a day (4 if you count the shill of a show Hannity and Colmes) maybe he'll deserve such accolades. If he starts peddling real ideas or pushes for real change... never mind. Theres no way that will happen. I will have to hand it to him though, he has done a good job marketing himself wrapping himself in the flag and tagging along with the country music crowd promoting his so called "Freedom Fests" it's made him rich. Now if he could only do something useful with his money besides further self promotion he might be able to redeem himself a bit... never mind that won't happen either. Oh and his "nasally" whiny voice is pretty annoying too. Especially on FM.

I'll just throw one interesting fact out there. The only thing to me that's more surprising than how low the President's approval rating is, is that Congress' is even lower.
Can we just give Washington DC back to the British?
