Been seeing promos for the new 5 o'clock local fox news thing. Hmmm..have to say they have given me a chuckle or two. Wonder if management of that station has ever heard of the Canadian series "The Newsroom".

I'm glad to hear that Fox 13 will be airing a local newscast at 5. Now it would be great if we could get a Fox national newscast also. I know they planned to do it a few years ago and changed their minds, probably because costs exceeded projected income.

Fox 13 should do a 4:30 and 5:30 newscast as well as a 10:00-10:30 newscast with different anchors on. Evans, Woodside, Saeland & Runge should stay at the 9 o'clock hour and use all the other talents in the market that Ch. 2, Ch. 4 & Ch. 5 let go...
Gee, I should get my broadcasting degree and become a news director...
