I 'll throw this on the forum site. The FCC has granted the LPFM at 106.1 it's license to cover so it should sign-on soon so when it does someone fill in the gap of what it's format will be? I'm sure it will be a non-commercial station of some sort.

I've been able to hear it in the Roy area. (What a mess. There's a mix of the Logan LPFM along with KOTB PLUS splatter from 106.3's translator.) They're soliciting volunteers at this point. Looks like they want to do community access radio.

The only thing that's consistant about radio propagation is that it isn't consistant. I'm not the only one who heard it in the area. The sign-on loop is airchecked at nervecore.org:800/hswalker/utradioguide/index.htm Don't know who Sand Man is though.

I've been able to pick up all of KUSU's frequencies throughout most of Ogden, including the 89.5, 91.5, and 92.5 frequencies. Also the 92.9, 94.5, and 96.7 main station frequencies as well.
From the other directions I get a weak signal from 92.1 (KUUU), and in rare cases the translator on 99.1 for KURR.
Oddly enough no other FMs out of the Logan area in Ogden.
For some reason they all seem to come through the canyon just to the east of Mount Ogden. The signals are strongest through the Riverdale area up to Downtown. I've caught them up on Harrison and 36th as well. All this on a walkman!
Also, what are the calls given for the Logan LPFM?
