Looks like the sale process on AM 1010 is nearly complete, in fact, the station now has new calls.
KIHU = 'Immaculate Heart/Utah'.
Don't know if they are actually using them yet.
I also noticed that 105.7 now is using the calls KNRS-FM as well.

Three days ago, KPCW was still simulcating on 1010. Two days ago, the signal was silent, but there was still a carrier. Yesterday, KIHU began broadcasting with a continuous loop. Tomorrow, the station will begin normal broadcast operations following a live broadcast of a 9:30 a.m. dedicatory service by the Catholic Church's Bishop of Salt Lake City.
I am already missing KPCW. Their broadcast of American Public Media's Marketplace at 6 pm was at just the right time for me to catch it on my drive home. Since I work in Provo, I cannot catch the 5:30 broadcast of Marketplace on KCPW. The 6:30 p.m. broadcast of Marketplace on KUER is too late.

The station has now officially flipped to the EWTN feed. www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=7642029I am not Catholic, but I have always enjoyed EWTN's programming. Fascinating features and discussions about Christianity's largest denomination. I wish the new operation the best of luck.
