Looks like abc 4 has made some big changes this year. updated graphics new anchors and etc. Most recently they have added a new GMU reporter and they added a new anchor from Florida today to there 5pm newscast. It looks like they are doing alot better now with trying to stay fresh. I do wish they would have kept Christiana Brady as the Female Good morning Utah anchor though. One other thing that would also help Is a new set!! A must! Any Thoughts?

Yeah, I've been saying for years (since the Ruth Todd days) that Channel 4 has been needing a new set! But I have to agree, their graphics are better but still I don't think it will help their ratings. Check out my related post on ratings haha

The bios for Ross Becker and Brent Hunsaker have been moved to "reporter" from the anchor section. Jon Dupre is now listed as the weekend anchor.
The new anchors are Robert Maxwell in the evening and Don Hudson in the mornings. So far I thing the changes are positive.

I'd have to agree with you peck801. Fresh younger talent could really help them. But I do wonder how Ross Becker is doing seeing how he came here from Las vegas and hasn't been at abc4 that long. Sure he wasn't expecting this.

so many jobs lost, so many programming changes, so many lives disrupted...in such a brief time.. and what was gained by it all ? from: www.rickgevers.com/newsletter/november-1-2009/November 1, 2009 KTVX-TV, Salt Lake City, UT… TOM BELL is leaving one Newport owned TV station for another. He’ll be the next ND at WOAI-TV in San Antonio. More on that below. Tom’s been the ND for this ABC affiliate since June, 2008. WOAI-TV, San Antonio, TX…as mentioned above, TOM BELL will be the next ND for this Newport-owned NBC affiliate. Tom’s been the ND for Newport’s KTVX-TV in Salt Lake City for the last year and a half. He’s a former ND in Phoenix and Detroit, and also served two stints as an Assistant ND in St. Louis. Tom replaces AARON RAMEY who left the station in October after two years as ND.
