According to Radio-Info:
“Donny Osmond joins Music Of Your Life.”
You have to admit, that simple headline on the press release from Global Radio Network President/CEO Mark Angell could produce a “worlds colliding” sensation in your cranium, given the different generations. But as Radio-Info’s EVP of Music and Programming Sean Ross is quick to observe – “Donny did record 'Young Love' and 'Are You Lonesome Tonight' and 'When I Fall in Love.'” The onetime child singing sensation grew up to have a long career in live and recorded music, in movies (Disney’s animated “Mulan”), on TV’s “Dancing with the Stars” and in Broadway shows (“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”). So having his “8-Track Playback” added to the weekend Music of Your Life schedule is probably a natural, as time goes by.
