Huh In case you haven't heard, just a half hour ago The Blaze has changed to Rockin Hits 97.5. They will be playing rock songs fron the 80's, 90's and today. They said that they received hunrdreds of letters and hundreds of phone calls about what "Utah wants to hear". Ummm... what? You mean this is what Blaze fans really wanted? Let's just see how well this goes.

I remember when they switched to 97.5, they did all this talk about FIGHTING CORPORATE RADIO and what not. What happened in 16 months that made them change? They were one of the only stations that actually tried to be different than the other rock stations here, and now they switch to the same old, same old.
BTW they've set up a Facebook page and their new logo is up there.

If they really want to impress me, they need to become like 101.9 WXRP in New York City. That would make me listen to them a lot. I listened to The Blaze today, and it seems to me like a conbo of all the rock stations in SLC put on one frequence.
