It must have been some time yesterday. But 105.7 HD2, 99.5 HD2, and 99.1 are all symel casting a classic country format. I don’t know if this is off of satellite, or all programmed in house. But I do like the fact that someone does talk between a lot of songs. BTW, they are going by Utah’s classic country 99.1. This makes me wonder what is going to Freedom 570. It seems as though Clear Channel is throwing that under the bus. Sure, they have programming on it. But no one seems to know about it. No one I know talks about it. I do like a lot of the programming on that station. I hope it doesn’t go away soon. This leads me to another question. Do you think AM radio will be obsolete in about 5 to 10 years? I know people will say this was a hot topic on the mid to late 80’s. However, not with a lot of talkers switching to FM, and HD radio coming out, and MP3 players having FM radio and not AM, I wonder if something’s going on behind the seems that we don’t know about. BTW, even the HD radio they sell at Bes Buy doesn’t have AM radio. What do you all think?

Yeah, what's going on with that? I wish I had known the exact time those switches were going to happen, because I always want to hear what they're like--the sign-off by the last DJ, any other special sound bites, and the switch as one plays its last song/talk and as the new one plays its first song/talk.
Anyone know where I might find recordings of these moments?
