The April PPMs are out. www.radio-info.com/site/markets/grid/salt-lake-cityKSL is top in AQH share, but KSFI is tops in cume. NCE's: KRCL continues to slide. it is getting more clear that the switch to rock did not work. In fact, in AQH they are even behind the floundering KACP. KBYU is ahead of KUER in both AQH share and cume. KSOP breaks back into the top-10, I don't think I can remember the last time they were there. 99.1 does not even show up. Since the flip to K-Love by KKAT-FM, that has slid precipitously, the only thing that can account possibly for the 50,000 cume is likely people going to KKAT to listen to country but find the Christian station instead, then tuning out to the others, with KKAT's flip accounting for KSOP's rise to the top-10. But again, I think we could still in the end by the May or June months, know for sure if this is going to be the first purely CCM station to make the ratings in nearly two decades here. I think the last one was KCGL, and that flipped to KBCK, also a classic country format, the first in this market, in the early 90s.
