I know many of you are going to laugh at me. But I have very valid reason for what I am going to say. I know Bob Lonsberry is to prideful to work at K-talk. But I have reasons why he should consider working at K-talk. At K-talk, you can say what you want. I know the K-talk audience very well. The K-talk audience is very active politically. Many people would listen to Bob Lonsberry on K-talk. The owner of K-talk is very LDS. Some of the talk show hosts are very LDS or have been in the past. Many K-talk listeners are extremely LDS. This would make Bob Lonsberry a perfectly asset for K-talk. K-talk has an extremely loyal audience. In fact, I would say the audience they have is more loyal then what all the other talkers have. Bob would be guaranteed to have a backing on K-talk that he no longer has with the management of KNRS.
One thing about K-talk is you can say mostly what you want. In fact, the owner told me a long time the only thing I couldn’t do on K-talk is nock on the LDS church, or promote homosexuality. Bob Lonsberry would do any of those things. Sense you can mostly what you want without getting ridiculed by the K-talk staff, Bob wouldn’t have to worry about what he is saying.
Even guests sometimes have to tote the corporate policy of the station. I know that when Jason Chafitz ran for congress, Doug Right said during a commercial break, that he says anything more about immigration he would have to leave the studios. Naturally, Jason Chaffitz came to K-talk radio to talk about anything he wanted. Bob really needs to consider going to K-talk. I know that it would be a major step down from what he was. However, in some ways, it would be a step up.
One more thing Bob Lonsberry should consider doing until he gets a radio show back in Salt Lake, is doing a podcast for Salt Lake. As far as I know he still has the equipment at home to do a podcast. Why doesn’t he consider that?
