First off, here's the Docket 05-243 update.
Most of the moves away from the Metro area, such as in Idaho, appear to be complete. There may be one or two still.
That means that some of the rest of the stations involved in that massive switch are getting CPs. The only two that do not have even a minor modification application (required by 05-243) for their new frequencies are 105.7 and 106.5. Saw no currently active application for either KNRS-FM or KOSY. Those two must move to 105.9 and 106.7 respectively. That will allow KAUU to move to 105.1 in American Fork (Farnsworth transmitter) and 105.5 to move to Humphries. 107.1 and 107.9 also have CPs.
The other big find is that in order to bring in 105.5 (KDWY) and the recent purchase of 104.7, Simmons sold off Jack (103.1) and KEGH (106.9, moving to 107.1). It is owned by W. Lawrence Patrick and 'SLC Divestiture Trust I'. Some of the other former Millcreek properties are owned by him now, and some of them are now also owned by 'SLC Divestiture Trust II' which lists Jim Burgoyne as trustee.
