Posting this separately from the format change thread, but this explains why that happened.
T BALH-20120709AFB KJQN 88483 SLC DIVESTITURE TRUST I (W. LAWRENCE PATRICK, TRUSTEE) Voluntary Assignment of License E 103.1 MHZ COALVILLE, UT From: SLC DIVESTITURE TRUST I (W. LAWRENCE PATRICK, TRUSTEE) To: KLO BROADCASTING CO. Form 314
This is not the first time he's bought a station that was being sold following a bankruptcy, although this time it was so Simmons could conform to ownership rules after they bought KUUU after the bankruptcy of Chris Devine.
KLO bought KKWY 97.9 after it went belly-up after that group bought the old KZAN a year or so before that, in early 1990 and thus began KBZN.
And because Simmons currently has a CP to move 105.5 to Humphreys, and keep KUUU and build out the CP for the eventual 105.1 signal on Farnsworth too. That stick is silent, only the booster is operating now running KEGA.
